Six agents of the Tavernes de la Valldigna Local Police took office this morning as new officers, after successfully completing the competitive examination to fill officer positions through mobility, ordinary internal promotion, and administrative internal promotion.
The swearing-in ceremony was held in the town hall's plenary hall, recognizing the effort and preparation of the six civil servants who are assuming new responsibilities. With these additions, the Tavernes de la Valldigna City Council is committed to the professionalization and strengthening of the Local Police, expanding its command structure.

Mayor Lara Romero highlighted that the appointment represents a "qualitative leap" for the Local Police. For his part, the Councilor for Citizen Security, Emilio Fonseca, stated that the incorporation strengthens the police command structure and allows for progress towards a professional, accessible, and modern public security service.

The Chief Superintendent of Local Police, Israel Triviño, also emphasized the responsibility that the new officers are now assuming.
