The Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC) in Oliva remains open to the public from 9 AM to 2 PM, ensuring citizen service despite an employee's absence.

The Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC) in Oliva is open to the public from 9 AM to 2 PM. Consumer assistance is a key function of the Department of Commerce, Markets, and Consumption of the Oliva City Council, located next to the Municipal Market, with an entrance from Joan Baptista Escrivà square.
Although the employee usually responsible for consumer assistance is currently on leave, tasks are being carried out normally by other department colleagues. Daily assistance has been provided to all individuals seeking advice or information on how to file complaints with the Consumer Department of the Generalitat Valenciana.
Furthermore, the department has been strengthened with a new employee during the summer, and efforts are underway to temporarily cover the aforementioned absence. The Councilor for Consumption, Silvia Castillo, has sought to convey reassurance, stating that “any person experiencing a consumer issue will be attended to and assisted with their claims by their City Council.”
