The performance, which will begin at 8:00 PM near the Riuet, seeks to disseminate the most relevant episodes of the municipality's evolution. The narrative journey covers everything from the first Muslim settlements and the conquest by James I, to the expulsion of the Moriscos in 1609 and the subsequent repopulation with the Carta Pobla of 1611.
The show combines historical rigor with scenic resources such as music and dance to offer a participatory experience. According to municipal sources, the initiative aims to strengthen the sense of belonging and preserve local heritage, becoming a new attraction within the summer program for residents and visitors.
“"This historical reenactment is a project born to highlight the history of Miramar in a close, participatory, and exciting way."
One of the pillars of this proposal is the involvement of the citizenry, as the cast is made up of local actors and extras. The council's goal is to consolidate this event as a cultural benchmark that also allows for extending the festivities' activities to the beach area.
