Gandia City Council is carrying out redevelopment works on Avinguda del Port, located in the Grau area, to provide the zone with a new parking space and improve environmental quality.

The works, which are in an advanced stage, are primarily aimed at organizing public space and creating new vehicle spots. According to municipal forecasts, the intervention will be completed in the coming weeks.
The project includes the creation of 123 car spaces, 43 motorcycle spots, and four spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility. This action is part of the council's Plaza and Street Humanization Plan and has a budget of 114,875 euros.
In addition to mobility improvements, the intervention includes a significant environmental upgrade. 30 new trees will be planted, and an irrigation network will be installed to increase tree cover and landscape quality in an area that currently had little vegetation.
