The Gandia campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has launched an organic market to promote a responsible and sustainable consumption model among the university community.

This new initiative, which counts on the participation of Horta El Forcall, aims to bring "organic, local, and zero-kilometer products to the university community," explains Victoria Torres, the campus's Deputy Director of Quality.
Through this market, access to seasonal fruits and vegetables will be facilitated, while also supporting local agriculture and promoting more conscious consumption habits.

The market is established with the intention of continuity and is expected to be held every two weeks, on Mondays, from 12:30 to 14:30. This initiative joins similar experiences promoted by the UPV, such as the Agroecological Market at the Vera campus.
The first edition will take place on Monday, October 19th, between 12:30 and 14:30, at the Ágora of the Gandia campus.
