The Sueca International Shit Film Festival (CIM) has finalized its program for its thirteenth edition, scheduled to run from September 23rd to 27th at the Bernat i Baldoví Municipal Center. This year, the festival will present a selection of trash, gore, and underground cinema.
A total of 81 audiovisual pieces will be screened, with 13 of them being feature films. The festival kicks off on Wednesday, September 23rd, with the cyberpunk western Revoada by Ducca Rios, which has previously screened at festivals in Moscow and São Paulo, and Program, the Turkish Blade Runner by Hakan Kadioglu. Both will mark their Spanish premieres.
Among other notable feature films are A Sinister Tale by Mexican filmmaker Vaddir Sottelo, the live-action anime Ogre Reduction by Japan's Kenichi Omori, Kirk Bowman's naturist fantasy Mutants of Nature Cove, African Kung Fu Nazis II directed by Sebastian Stein and Samuel "Ninja-Man" Nkansah, and Star False 2.0 by Finland's Ville Luukkonen.
Short film highlights include new works from renowned directors familiar to festival followers, such as Balraj Kang, Pablo Llorens, Mahesh STR, Rama DeRanau, Fernando Alle, and Guillaume Rieu.
The complete program offers over 20 hours of content from more than 20 nationalities, promising an equally enjoyable and challenging experience for the daring fans gathering in Sueca.
