The IMSERSO spa program for the year 2027 has now opened the application submission period. Interested individuals should note the different dates established according to the desired turn.
For the February to August turn, the deadline is December 5, 2026. For those wishing to be placed on a waiting list for potential vacancies in this turn, the deadline is May 11, 2027. For the September to December turn, the application deadline is May 12, 2027, and for inclusion on the waiting list, it is October 31, 2027.
To access the program, the main requirements are to be a pensioner of retirement, permanent disability, widowhood (aged 55 or over), or other Social Security benefits (aged 60 or over) from the Spanish Social Security system. Insured persons or beneficiaries of the Spanish Social Security system aged 65 or over are also eligible.
Furthermore, program users must be able to manage their basic daily living activities independently, require the requested thermal treatments without medical contraindications, and achieve the minimum score established in the assessment to access the desired spas and turns.
