The next edition of Penyagolosa Trails will take place on April 24, 2027, a date commemorating the 28th anniversary of the first Marató i Mitja (MiM). The organization has chosen this day to symbolically revive the origins of the race, which connects Castelló with Sant Joan de Penyagolosa.
The two main routes will be maintained: the MiM, with a distance of 60 kilometers, and the CSP, which is 106 kilometers long. The MiM will thus reach its 28th edition, while the CSP will celebrate its 15th.
The race director, Tico Cervera, highlighted the importance of returning to this founding date. For her part, the president of the Provincial Council of Castelló, Marta Barrachina, emphasized the involvement of the municipalities and residents of the territory in the event.
The organization also announced that in the coming months, the deadlines for pre-registration and the date for the subsequent bib draw will be released.
