Official data from the European Commission's Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development indicates a significant uptick in citrus entries into the European Union. This increase has been particularly pronounced in the mandarin, clementine, and orange segments.
Shipments from third countries are approaching 135,000 tons, marking the second-best figure for this month. This highlights the EU market's increasing reliance on external supplies to meet demand, especially outside the European production season.
