The provincial institution has recognized 13 new companies today that are joining the gastronomic brand, bringing the total to 510 entities and companies that are part of this key tourist product for the province of Castellón.
The provincial vice-president and head of the Tourism area, Andrés Martínez, highlighted the brand's constant growth, consolidating it as a showcase for local gastronomic excellence. According to Martínez, Castellón Ruta de Sabor is not just gastronomy and tourism, but a distinctive mark identifying the work, passion, and experience of Castellón companies.
The new adhesions include establishments from various municipalities such as Oropesa del Mar (Hotel Boutique Casa Arizo, Llavor restaurant), Castellón (Absentia Cocktail Bar), Morella (El Rebost de Rose), Burriana (El Clot de l’Arrel), Benicàssim (EB Azahar Eventos Temáticos, Selma restaurant, Bruno restaurant), Onda (Asador el Torrelló restaurant, Propi restaurant), Peñíscola (Gganbu restaurant, Mareva Blue restaurant, Porto Rico restaurant).
Vice-president Andrés Martínez and the Deputy for the Primary Sector, Sergio Fornas, welcomed the new members, emphasizing the importance of joining forces to promote the talent, tradition, and innovation that make Castellón a gastronomic benchmark.
Deputy Sergio Fornas stressed the Provincial Council of Castellón's objective to protect, support, and promote local consumption, valuing the work of farmers and fishermen who provide fresh, high-quality products.
Additionally, during the event, 30 companies from the gastronomic tourism sector renewed their certificates, passing an audit with demanding requirements for continuous improvement.
