The event hall of the Senior and Pensioner Center in Benifaió hosted a talk last week by the Citizen Support unit of the Civil Guard of Almussafes on topics related to preventing crimes committed against the elderly.
A large number of residents attended to hear essential advice on recognizing potential crimes such as the 'hug' method, ATM robberies, or various online offenses.
The Support Unit offered advice to prevent these criminal methods and answered questions to improve citizen security.
The mayor of Benifaió, Marta Ortiz, attended the talk and thanked the Civil Guard of Almussafes for this initiative, which also involved the collaboration of the Association of Housewives Tyrius Benifaió and UDP Benifaió.
