The project allocates one million euros to cleaning and conservation tasks for the infrastructure, while the remaining 800,000 euros will be used for improvement works. The main objective is to strengthen preventive maintenance across the municipality's nearly 170 kilometers of network.
Among the technological innovations, the service will incorporate real-time digital tracking tools and inspections using CCTV cameras. These measures will allow for more precise planning of interventions to prevent incidents before they occur.
The contract also includes the addition of high-efficiency vehicles powered by compressed natural gas. These units have the capacity to reuse the water used in cleaning, which will reduce both drinking water consumption and pollutant emissions within the municipality.
