The fire continues to advance in areas such as Artana, Betxí, and Alfondeguilla, while meteorological changes are expected that could influence its spread. The night passed with less adversity than the previous day, according to information from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), but still with unfavorable conditions for containment.
Nighttime temperatures remained high, with lows of 22-24 °C in the early morning and below 20 °C in elevated areas of the Serra d'Espadà. Humidity did not decrease significantly, which hinders extinction efforts.
Aemet's forecast points to a possible change in wind direction, which could shift towards the southeast with gusts of up to 30 km/h. This change would propel the fire towards the interior of the mountain range, endangering areas like Eslida or Peñas Aragonesas.
Although temperatures will be lower than in previous days, exceeding yesterday's 38 °C, the environment remains adverse. The predicted breeze, while favorable due to its relative humidity, will be relatively dry, according to Aemet's warnings.
