The Generalitat Valenciana has authorized today the return to their homes for residents of the Toledo, Carbonaire, Sant Antoni, and Sant Josep neighborhoods in La Vall d'Uixó.

Following the meeting of the Integrated Operational Coordination Center (Cecopi), it was decided to lift the evacuation order that affected nearly 6,000 people in this area of the municipality. The fire, now in its fourth day of activity, has already scorched 8,500 hectares and maintains a perimeter of 72 kilometers.
Despite this improvement, mobility restrictions and evacuation orders remain in effect for the rest of the affected municipalities until midnight this Tuesday. Extinguishing teams worked throughout the night to consolidate the perimeter, taking advantage of the wind easing during control efforts.
Aerial assets resumed operations early this morning to continue firefighting efforts. Authorities have confirmed that residents of the local nursing home will also be able to return to the facility throughout the day today.
