The city of Onda has commemorated International Youth Day with a series of special activities focused on creativity and youth participation. The third edition of the Escoleta Jove Inclusiva, a free municipal program, has brought together 40 young people aged 11 to 17 at the Casal Jove this year.
The day's highlight was the creation of a collective mural, where participants could express their contributions and viewpoints. This artistic and community-building activity is part of the Escoleta Jove program, which runs in fortnightly sessions during July and August.
The Councilor for Youth, Daniel Álvaro, emphasized the importance of providing spaces for youth expression and creation, as well as the need to maintain initiatives that facilitate participation and coexistence throughout the year.
This year's program integrates the Youth Day activities into the third edition of the Escoleta Jove Inclusiva. The program, which is free for participants, includes educational workshops, trips to the municipal pool, and urban excursions, combining leisure and community building during school holidays.
Additionally, the City Council has announced the upcoming MobilisGO 2026/2027 Card for the next academic year. This initiative will cover 100% of the bus costs for Onda students pursuing studies in Vila-real and Castellón, according to established requirements.
