A forest fire declared on Saturday in the province of Castellón has forced the evacuation of 7,000 residents from La Vilavella, Artana, Eslida, and the Toledo neighborhood of La Vall d'Uixó, as well as areas of the Carbonaire neighborhood.

The fire, which began in the municipality of La Vall d'Uixó, has approached several towns in the Plana Baixa region, causing a tense and hurried evacuation. Residents attempted to leave in their vehicles while security forces assisted the elderly and dependent individuals in vacating their homes.
The evacuated residents have gone to stay with family and friends. The Burriana residence and the Nules sports center have also been made available to provide them with a place to spend the night in the best possible conditions.
