Crews from the Castellón Provincial Fire Consortium carried out a rescue operation this Saturday for a woman who had injured her foot near the Santa Bárbara hermitage in Onda.

The emergency services were notified after the hiker suffered an injury that prevented her from continuing her walk. A rescue operation was immediately activated to locate and assist her.
Units from the Plana Baixa and Espadà Millars fire stations participated in the operation. The teams traveled to the location to provide aid and carry out the necessary tasks for her safe evacuation.
The Provincial Fire Consortium has not yet provided further details regarding the condition of the rescued person or her transfer to a medical facility.
