The province of Castellón is preparing to experience the World Cup final with giant screens in numerous municipalities, while Castellón considers changing its location due to the large influx of fans.

Spain will face Argentina next Sunday, July 19th, at 9:00 PM in the 2026 World Cup final. The Spanish national team, led by Luis de la Fuente, has reached the final 16 years after their last appearance, having defeated rivals such as Portugal, Belgium, and France.
Throughout the tournament, numerous town halls in the province have installed giant screens to allow residents to collectively experience the matches. The success of these initiatives has generated great anticipation for the final encounter.
The City Council of Castellón has not yet confirmed the definitive location for the final's broadcast. The large turnout recorded at the Plaza Mayor during the semi-final against France, where "no more people could fit," according to the mayor Begoña Carrasco, has led the council to study new venues that can accommodate a greater number of fans. If the usual location were maintained, access control would be necessary.
Meanwhile, Estepark has already announced that it will broadcast the match at its facilities, which will offer free parking and are expected to have a great atmosphere.
Other municipalities in the province that have already announced the installation of giant screens include: Burriana (maritime promenade), Vila-real (Plaza Mayor), Almenara (Parc Municipal de la Platja Casablanca), Xilxes (plaça de l’Armada), Onda (Raval de Sant Josep), Vall d’Alba (municipal swimming pool), La Vall d’Uixó (Coves de Sant Josep), Nules (Plaza Mayor), Les Coves de Vinromà (Plaça d’Espanya), Torreblanca (carrer Sant Joan), Alcossebre (Plaça de la Mola), Alcalà de Xivert (Plaça de la Iglesia), Càlig (Centre de Cultura Alcalde Manuel Anglés), Vinaròs (maritime promenade), and Oropesa del Mar (Plaza Mayor).
The province is preparing for a historic event, recalling the victory of 2010. The town councils have called for civic behavior following some incidents recorded after the semi-final against France.
