The forest fire affecting the Plana Baixa region has approached the town of Artana this Sunday morning. Images show the flames very close to the municipality's borders and key wooded areas such as Font de Cabras and Puntal de Serra Espada, the highest peaks in the area.
Aerial resources have resumed their work to combat the flames, while ground teams are working intensely to contain the fire's advance. Its proximity to the highway near Betxí has also caused additional concern.
This fire has necessitated preventive measures and constant monitoring of the fire's evolution, particularly due to the possibility of changes in wind direction.
