The capital of the Plana Baixa region is now flying the flag that certifies its coastline as a tobacco-free and waste-free environment. This initiative, promoted by the Department of Health and the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, aims to encourage healthy habits and protect the natural environment for the next three years.
At the same time, the local government has renewed the signage on coastal access walkways. The new supports are sectorized and include QR codes that allow users to check the summer activity schedule, historical data about the city, and information on services available at each beach section.
This modernization allows beachgoers to easily find out if a specific area has accessibility features for people with reduced mobility, as well as the location of foot showers or lifeguard services, thereby improving the overall experience on the Burriana coast.
