The Plana Baixa region has witnessed the closing of the 21st edition of the "A la fresqueta" cycle in Burriana, a summer initiative that took place at the emblematic Torre del Mar site. With over two decades of history, the event has once again enlivened summer Fridays with a diverse program of open-air performances.
This year's program kicked off with a monologue by comedian Pablo de los Reyes, which attracted a large audience. Subsequently, the cycle featured a musical segment with performances by students from the Municipal Center of the Arts and the Closing Concert of the Musical Week. Humor returned to the forefront with the monologue-musical show by Álex Martínez.
The television mentalist and illusionist Jeff Toussaint was responsible for bringing the event to a close with his show "El Hipnotista 2". All performances remained completely free for the attending public.
The Councilor for Cultural Programming, Paloma Boix, highlighted the cycle's success, stating that "'A la fresqueta' has once again been confirmed as an indispensable emblem of summer in Burriana". Boix emphasized the excellent reception from residents and visitors and the event's year-on-year consolidation.
The councilor also underscored the government team's commitment to continue supporting a "varied and quality offering that combines humor, music, and top-level shows, revitalizing our city and guaranteeing universal access to culture".
