Burriana continues to advance in the implementation of quarterly parking, adding two new sectors starting October 1st.

The Burriana council has announced the incorporation of two new sectors into the quarterly parking alternation system, which will come into effect on October 1st. With this expansion, there are now four areas in the municipality applying this model to improve mobility and neighborly coexistence.
The new delimited zone covers the area between L’Encarnació street, the camí d’Onda, El Raval, and the ronda Panderola. The public roads affected by this change include, among others, L’Encarnació street, Sant Joan de la Creu, Bernat Guillem D’Entença, Industria, 25 d’Abril, Maestro Serrano, Germanies, General Prim, Mariano Benlliure, Joaquín Fuentes, Ramón Campos, Peu de la Creu, Vicente Alcalde Moliner, Pintor Sorolla, Menéndez Pelayo, Vicente Cantos Figueroa, Salvador Giner, La Gallera, San Leandro, Cardenal Cisneros, Virgen del Niño Perdido, Pere Cornell, El Cid, Sant Germà, Santa Elvira, San Andreu (up to Ronda Panderola), Vinarolls (from Ronda Panderola), Manuel Becerra, Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, Severo Ochoa, Primer de Maig, Calderón de la Barca, and Corazón de Jesús.
This progressive shift towards quarterly alternation is supported by citizen satisfaction surveys conducted by municipal services. According to the results, 73.2% of users who have tried the measure prefer to maintain this model over the monthly alternative, highlighting its convenience, ease of understanding, and general improvement in traffic flow and public space management.
The Councilor for Public Works, Mario Trullén, emphasized that "the quarterly system offers greater daily convenience without compromising essential services like street cleaning." Trullén added that "the staggered incorporation of new sectors allows us to move forward in an orderly manner towards extending quarterly parking to the entire city of Burriana."
