Eleven individuals from the IATS-CSIC took part in this edition of the event, which is part of the celebrations for the European Researchers' Night. The workshops were held at the university's Agora and captured the attention of thousands of participants of all ages, including many families.
The research group Fish Neurobehavior Laboratory from IATS offered two workshops: "Getting to Know the Zebrafish: A Journey Towards Its Well-being" and "Seeing, Smelling, and Deciding: How Our Brain Integrates Senses." Participating in these workshops were Felipe Espigares Puerto, Elisabeth Tormos Ribes, Daniel Serrano Álvarez, José Maria García Luque, Victoria Alvarado Fernández, Borja Orozco Alcón, and José Miguel Cerdá Reverter.
The third workshop was presented by Icíar Muñoz, from the research group on Auxiliary Species in Aquaculture, Larviculture, and Ecotoxicology, under the title "Platynereis: A Marine Worm Helping to Build the Aquaculture of the Future."
The vice-director of IATS-CSIC, Ana Gómez Peris, participated in the institutional visit to Science GTS along with university authorities. Also supporting the activities were Mar Navarro Llombart and Millán Mozota Hogueras, from the center's Unit of Scientific Culture and Innovation (UCC+I).
