The Civil Guard has arrested a man in Almassora for drug trafficking after seizing 120 grams of marijuana and detecting various traffic violations.

A Civil Guard patrol observed a car driving without a seatbelt. Additionally, a potentially dangerous dog was traveling in the front passenger seat without the approved restraint system and with part of its body out the window while the vehicle was in motion.
Upon stopping the vehicle, officers confirmed it lacked both a valid Vehicle Technical Inspection (ITV) and mandatory insurance. During the inspection, officers found a bag containing a plant-based substance which, when weighed, amounted to approximately 120 grams of marijuana.
Given the quantity seized and the circumstances, the driver was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking offense. The vehicle was immobilized until its administrative status could be regularized.
The compiled proceedings, along with the detainee, have been handed over to the competent judicial authority.
