Almassora City Council has begun the process to reopen the bar and hostel at the Santa Quitèria site simultaneously, linking the management of both municipal services.

A technical committee is currently working on defining the operating model to ensure sustainable use that respects the environmental and heritage value of the site. The goal is to ensure the facilities operate in a coordinated manner once they are available to the public.
This reopening follows the completion in April of tourism improvement works around the Santa Quitèria Bridge, which is classified as a Site of Cultural Interest. The project, carried out by the company Vialobra with an investment of over 2.4 million euros co-financed by the European Union, has allowed for the restoration of the building attached to the hermitage to serve as a hostel and the renovation of the restaurant building.
The works included the installation of a new pergola at the cafeteria equipped with 63 photovoltaic solar panels. Additionally, new restrooms have been installed in the Casa Ermitana to serve both tourists and school groups, and cleaning and restoration tasks have been carried out on the riverbank and the staircase connecting the central square to the lower area.
