The III Albir Organic Ecological Fair gathered more than 3,000 people this weekend at the Paseo de las Estrellas on l'Albir beach, a space dedicated to healthy eating and organic products.

The fair featured 18 producers offering a diverse range of products, including oils, cheeses, figs, pomegranates, almonds, jams, nougats, beers, fruits, and vegetables, as well as cosmetics and other wellness-related items. The initiative allowed the public to buy directly from producers and discover responsible, local consumption alternatives.
The opening ceremony was attended by institutional representatives and agricultural sector figures, including the mayor of l’Alfàs del Pi, Vicente Arques; the mayor of Lescar, Valérie Revel; the mayor of Covarrubias, Raúl Gredillas; ASECOCV president, José Antonio Rico; and La Unió Llauradora technician, Ricard Ballester. Their presence underscored support for organic production and healthy consumption habits.
The Councilor for Tourism, Environment, and Beaches, Luis Miguel Morant, positively assessed the event's reception, highlighting the importance of bringing organic food closer to citizens and promoting more responsible consumption habits. Morant also emphasized the value of combining commercial offerings with educational activities on the relationship between food, health, and sustainability.

The program included the workshop ‘Lovers of healthy and balanced cooking’, led by dietitian Rosa Miralles, featuring a live cooking demonstration and practical tips for a balanced diet, followed by a free tasting.
Prior to the fair, an informative session was held at the Carabineros Environmental Education Center on the right to healthy eating. The event brought together specialists such as Dolores Raigón (UPV professor), Francisco Mata Rabasa (naturopathic doctor), Elia Carceller Sauras (IMAS director), and Maria Marín Peiró (nutritionist), discussing food quality, food sovereignty, and the impact of consumption on health and the environment.
Organized by ASECOCV with sponsorship from the Generalitat Valenciana and collaboration from the l’Alfàs del Pi City Council, Albir Organic's third edition solidifies its role as a key meeting point for promoting organic food and healthy lifestyles.
