The festival will take place on Saturdays October 3, 10, 17, and 31, at 8:00 PM. Tickets are priced at 5 euros and can be purchased at the Casa de Cultura's box office during morning hours (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM) or one hour before each performance.
The Councilor for Culture, Manuel Casado, presented the festival, highlighting its consolidation and the diversity of its program. This includes pieces by Mozart and Vivaldi, adaptations of pop and rock hits, film music, and Mozart's Requiem.
The opening concert on October 3 will be performed by the Festival Mozartmanía Orchestra, which will blend classical and contemporary music with symphonic arrangements of hits by groups such as The Beatles, ABBA, and Queen. The ensemble comprises professional musicians and young talents.
On October 10, the Cuarteto Macondo will perform, offering a repertoire that combines baroque virtuosity, waltzes, and iconic film melodies, specializing in reinterpreting pop and rock hits with a string quartet formation. This performance is organized in collaboration with the University of Alicante and Veolia.
The third concert, on October 17, will be presented by the Orquesta de las Jornadas Hispano Noruegas. They will perform Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, with George Hlawiczka as violin soloist, and Mozart's Piano Concerto KV 413, featuring pianist Siegmund Watty.
The festival will conclude on October 31 with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem KV 626, performed by the Orquesta Art Creare. The performance will feature a choir of approximately 50 voices, four vocal soloists, and an orchestra of 35 musicians. The soloists will be Jennibel Hernández (soprano), Joana Thomè (mezzo-soprano), Jorge Franco (tenor), and Javier Agudo (baritone). This performance is supported by the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC).
Casado invited residents and visitors to enjoy the festival's diverse offerings, emphasizing the artistic quality and accessibility of classical music for all audiences.
