The works, carried out by the company Construcciones e Impermeabilizaciones Canet SL, aim to improve the condition of the facilities and prevent problems arising from water leaks. The intervention included cleaning the asphalt fabric roof support using blowers and high-pressure water equipment, as well as applying a special primer to prepare the surface. Subsequently, a fiberglass mesh was installed along with a new insulation layer to reinforce waterproofing and enhance roof protection.
The Councilor for Education, Laura Sevilla, and the Councilor for Urban Planning, Toni Such, visited the educational center to check the progress of the works. They were accompanied by the manager of the company responsible for the intervention and the director of CEIP Veles e Vents, Julián López.

Sevilla highlighted the importance of maintaining educational centers in good condition and ensuring adequate facilities for students and teaching staff. She also emphasized the coordination between municipal departments, the contracting company, and the center's management to facilitate the intervention's development. With this project, the L'Alfàs del Pi City Council continues its efforts in the maintenance and improvement of municipal educational infrastructure.
