Officers responded to an emergency call from 112 at 04:30 AM, reporting a fire in a dwelling where people might be trapped. Upon arrival, they confirmed a woman was inside, unable to escape due to thick smoke and intense flames.
After failing to break down the main door, officers forced open a small window next to the entrance to gain access. Through this opening, they managed to evacuate both the woman and her pet, who were in a dangerous situation.
The house sustained significant damage due to the scale of the fire.
Firefighters arrived shortly after to control and extinguish the blaze, preventing it from spreading to neighboring properties. The residence was heavily damaged. Fortunately, the woman, who lived alone with her pet, did not suffer serious injuries and received medical attention at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. The Civil Guard's Fire Investigation Team for the Valencia Zone is investigating to determine its origin.
