The beach of l'Albir will become this Saturday, October 24th, a meeting point for the 3rd Albir Organic Fair, which will gather 18 organic producers at the Paseo de las Estrellas.

The fair, held from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, will offer a wide selection of certified foods and products, as well as a parallel program of activities open to the public. Organized by the Association for the Defense of Organic Production and Food in the Valencian Community (ASECOCV), with sponsorship from the Generalitat Valenciana and collaboration from the City Council of l'Alfàs del Pi, the initiative reaches its third edition, consolidating itself as an event to bring organic production closer to residents and visitors.
Attendees will find a varied offering including organic oil, cheeses, figs, pomegranates, almonds, jams, nougats, beers, fruits, and vegetables, as well as cosmetics and sleep products. The Councilor for Tourism, Environment, and Beaches, Luis Miguel Morant, highlighted the fair's importance in promoting more responsible consumption linked to the territory.
The event will include educational proposals to show that healthy eating can be simple, varied, and accessible. The free cooking workshop ‘Lovers of healthy and balanced cooking’, led by integrative dietitian Rosa Miralles, will take place from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Biblioplaya, featuring a live cooking demonstration and free tasting.
As a prelude, on Friday, October 23rd, at 6:30 PM, the Carabineros Environmental Education Center will host the informative session ‘Right to healthy eating’, with specialists such as Dolores Raigón (professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia), Francisco Mata Rabasa (naturopathic doctor), Elia Carceller Sauras (director of the Mediterranean Institute of Sustainable Food), and Maria Marín Peiró (nutritionist).
The City Council of l'Alfàs del Pi supports Albir Organic as part of its commitment to sustainability and the promotion of healthy habits, connecting producers and consumers.
