The project, covering an area of 2,820 square meters along 650 linear meters of Mestral Avenue, between Garbí and Tramuntana streets, includes replacing the pavement with durable printed concrete in a tone similar to the original 'albero' to blend with the surroundings. The aim is to create a more accessible, safe, and modern space, addressing the deterioration and inconveniences caused by the current 'albero' surface.
The plan involves excavating the degraded base, leveling it with concrete, and applying a 14 cm layer of high-strength printed concrete. Additionally, damaged street furniture will be removed and replaced with 10 new ergonomic benches and 10 stainless steel bins, all made from durable recycled plastic, promoting environmental sustainability and reducing long-term maintenance costs.
“"The current 'albero' presented significant deficiencies due to the passage of time and weather conditions, causing inconvenience and insecurity to pedestrians»."
Mayor Marcos Zaragoza highlighted that this investment responds to residents' demands and complements recent actions in the La Cala neighborhood, focusing on infrastructure renewal and ensuring greater accessibility.
Interested companies can submit their bids for the tender, valued at 268,453.65 euros, until September 9th.
