Xàbia City Council has received several economic proposals for the concession of seasonal beach services, including sunbeds, umbrellas, and kiosks, with strong competition.

The contracting board has recently opened the envelopes containing the offers submitted for the operation of these services. In the case of Arenal beach, up to seven proposals have been registered for the sunbed and umbrella contract, with amounts ranging from 317,000 to 151,000 euros.
Other areas such as Cala Granadella, Cala del Portitxol, and La Grava beach have also attracted interest from various companies. Likewise, offers have been received for zones designated for nautical activities, such as kayaking or paddle surfing, located near the mouth of the Gorgos River and in the surroundings of Cap de Sant Antoni.
Regarding the two kiosks at Primer Muntanyar, the council has received two proposals, both above the established minimum fee. The selection process will award 70% of the score to the economic offer, while the remaining 30% will depend on the technical quality and improvements provided by the bidders.
Municipal technicians will now be responsible for evaluating the documentation to formulate a final award proposal. Once the contracts are formalized, the concessionaires will pay the proportional part of the fee based on the days the services are effectively open.
