Two Dead in Traffic Accidents on Valencian Roads

A man died in Requena and a woman in Pedreguer, with five more injured in other incidents.

Two people have died and five more have been injured in three traffic accidents that occurred during Tuesday night on Valencian roads.

Tuesday night was tragic on Valencian roads, with two fatalities and five people injured in three different accidents. A 55-year-old man died in a collision between two trucks on the A-3, near Requena, shortly before midnight. Shortly after, a 34-year-old woman lost her life in a crash between a car and a motorcycle on the AP-7, in Pedreguer. A third incident in Torrevieja left two injured.
One of the most serious accidents occurred in the Requena area at 11:45 PM, when two large tonnage vehicles collided. Upon arrival, emergency services could only certify the death of one of the drivers. The other man, 41 years old, was taken to Requena hospital with leg cuts and an anxiety attack.
At 1:30 AM, on the AP-7, near Pedreguer, a car and a motorcycle collided. The Information and Coordination Center for Emergencies (CICU) dispatched a SAMU ambulance and three others. Medical personnel attempted to resuscitate a 34-year-old woman, but unfortunately, she did not survive.
In this Pedreguer incident, in addition to the fatality, two women were injured: a 25-year-old with multiple traumas and a 62-year-old with abdominal pain. Both were taken to Dénia hospital.
A third accident occurred on the N-332 in Torrevieja around 9:30 PM, where a man and a woman suffered multiple traumas. They were transported to the city's hospital.
