The initiative aims to promote healthy lifestyle habits, social cohesion, family reconciliation, and the inclusion of physical activity at all life stages. The Councilor for Sports, Raül Tamarit, and the area's technician, Josep Llorca, emphasized that the slogan is an invitation to incorporate physical activity into daily life, promoting a more active and healthier town as a tool for coexistence and well-being.
Among the novelties, the maintenance gymnastics program is restructured into three options: Activa’t Fit (adults), Activa’t Senior (mobility for the elderly), and Impulsa’t i Activa’t Fit (for individuals referred from the Health Center). The psychomotor activity for children aged 4 and 5 is renamed Juga i Activa’t.
At the indoor pool, baby swimming courses are moved to 5:20 PM, and the Impulsa’t program is created for children (7-10 years old) and adults who cannot swim. The spinning discipline is officially renamed Ciclo Indoor. Pego also stands out for its pioneering role in the Xarxa de Salut (Health Network), with a 100% continuity rate in sports practice for participants of the free 'En Moviment' program.
The sports schools' program includes Activa’t Fit (Mondays/Wednesdays or Wednesdays/Fridays), Activa’t Senior (Tuesdays/Thursdays), Impulsa’t i Activa’t Fit (Tuesdays/Thursdays), Juga i Activa’t (Wednesdays/Fridays), Volleyball (U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19 categories), and Valencian Ball (U-10/U-13 and U-15/U-17 categories). Physical Exercise Occupational Workshop (Tuesdays/Thursdays) is also offered.
The registration fee for Activa’t Fit, Activa’t Senior, and Impulsa’t Fit is €25, while for the rest of the municipal sports schools it is €70 (plus €20 for the uniform). Adult and health activities run from October 5, 2026, to May 28, 2027, and volleyball/Valencian Ball from September 14, 2026, to June 11, 2027. Registrations open on September 1st at the Indoor Pool office.
The Indoor Pool and Municipal Gym will be open from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The season is divided into three quarters (September-November, December-March, March-May). Children's and adult swimming courses cost €85 (2 days/week) or €108 (3 days/week). For retirees and people with disabilities, it's €60 (2 days/week). Aquagym and Ciclo Indoor cost €85 (2 days/week), with a combined pack for €115.
Membership for free use of the gym and pool ranges from €20 monthly (individual) to €65 monthly (family for 4 members). The general daily entry is €3 (€2 for retirees/disabled). Payment will be made exclusively by credit or debit card at the Municipal Indoor Pool offices (C/ Metge Joaquim Pastor Alentado, s/n).
