At the same hour, la Vilavella registered 38 degrees, and la Vall d'Uixò and the southern part of Onda recorded 36 degrees.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) indicated that the shift to a westerly wind along the coast of València, northern Alicante, and southern Castellón caused temperatures to rise and humidity to drop below 30%.
