In Moraira, the day was marked by tradition and maritime devotion. A solemn sung mass, a mascletà, the maritime procession of the Mare de Déu del Carme, and an aquatic fireworks display were held.
Meanwhile, the Primer Grup dels Mariners neighborhood in Dénia experienced one of its most special days. This historic area, built last century to house families linked to the fishing sector, was adorned to pay homage to the patron saint.
The most emotional moment in Dénia was the procession of the Virgin's image, which paraded through the neighborhood's streets before heading towards the port.
Residents, fishermen, family members, and visitors participated in both municipalities in a day that included land and sea processions.
