The opening ceremony, held last Friday, July 3, was attended by nearly 200 people. Due to roadworks on La Bassa street, the exhibition has been relocated to the Church Square, Dr. Gómez Ferrer street, and Constitución street up to Plaza Nova.
The exhibition, which will remain open to the public until July 24, features a total of 83 works from 17 different countries. During the presentation, local authorities expressed their gratitude for the collaboration of artists and educational centers in making this cultural project possible.
“"These works are turning contemporary art and our town into a focal point of attraction in the Marina Alta."
The inauguration was enlivened by the Colla de tabaleters i dolçainers El Montgó. The cultural program will continue over the coming weeks with activities such as a concert by Gata’mdeSiro i Vicent, a traditional 'llata' weaving meeting, and a performance by the Gata Youth Band.
