The Marina Alta region experienced another fire scare today, following difficult days in Dénia and El Verger. Around 6 PM, a small fire broke out in a dense forest area of Xàbia, near El Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
According to the Civil Protection collective of this municipality, the swift intervention of the Firefighters and Xàbia Civil Protection prevented the fire from escalating and allowed it to be extinguished within minutes.
