Dénia's Fiestas Mayores 2026, one of the most important events in the town's festive calendar, will be held from July 3rd to 12th. The celebration honors the Santíssima Sang and this year features an expanded program with over sixty cultural events, ranging from major concerts to family theater, monologues, and dance.
Among this year's novelties is the return of the traditional motorcycle ribbon race. Additionally, the program includes a themed rock night, tribute concerts, and a multimedia pyrotechnic show. The musical lineup features performances by relevant groups such as Fangoria, Nebulossa, Abril, Malifeta, Eleski, and Serko. Music will also fill the afternoons with daily 'tardeo' performances in Maria Hervás square and the Glorieta.
The daily program kicks off on Friday, July 3rd, with the children's announcement rocket launch and concerts by artists like Cadenza and Nil Moliner. Saturday, July 4th, marks the official start of the festivities with a parade and the traditional bull run, followed by the 'bous a la mar' and concerts by Fangoria and Nebulossa.
Religious events also hold a prominent place, with the novena to the Santíssima Sang from June 29th to July 7th, masses, and the solemn mass on July 8th featuring the participation of the Orfeó de Dénia, followed by a procession.
Other notable events include the 'correfoc' (fire run), the intergenerational song festival, children's shows, dance performances, monologues, and the revived motorcycle ribbon race on Thursday, July 9th. The festival will culminate on Sunday, July 12th, with a multimedia pyrotechnic spectacle.
