Casa 47, the state public housing company established by the ministry, has opened the application period for 645 homes across Spain, with 401 located in the Valencian Community. Of these, 112 are situated in Marina Alta, specifically 66 in Pedreguer and 46 in Dénia. The remainder are distributed across Monóvar (18), Orihuela (13), Elche (5), and Novelda (5).
The homes, with sizes ranging from 30 m² to 160 m², will have a monthly price between 350 euros and 1,066 euros. The average rent per square meter in Alicante and Castellón is 6.43 euros, while in Valencia it is 7.07 euros.
Applications will be open until September 10. Interested individuals can consult details such as photographs, location, rental price, and annual income for the basic household unit on the Casa 47 website, where the application form will also be available.
Rental contracts can last up to 75 years, with an initial period of 14 years and automatic 7-year renewals. To access these homes, households cannot own property and must have combined incomes between 2 and 7.5 times the IPREM. Monthly rents will not exceed 30% of the municipality's average income.
The allocation of homes will be done by public lottery before a notary. After verifying the requirements, a provisional allocation will be made, and if the home meets the needs, the rental contract will be signed and keys handed over.
With these 645 homes recovered from Sareb, Casa 47 has now facilitated a total of 816 affordable rental homes across two application rounds, managing the entire residential cycle to ensure access to decent housing.
