To carry out this work, the City Council has hired the specialized company Geoinnova, S.L., which will conduct the technical and territorial analysis. The main objective is to have updated information to understand the distribution of these homes, identify areas with a higher presence, and analyze their potential effects.
The study will combine various sources of information and analytical tools, including the analysis of statistical, territorial, and urbanistic data; the study of the distribution of tourist use housing; the creation of specific cartography; the execution of a survey for the population; and the development of public participation actions.
Citizen participation is an important part of the process, as it will allow for understanding the population's perception of the presence and evolution of tourist use housing in El Verger. Starting October 19th, a link to an open survey for the population will be available on the municipal website, the responses of which will be used as an additional source of information.
Information about the dates and location of public participation sessions will be provided soon through municipal channels. All information related to the study's development, the survey, and upcoming participation actions will be progressively available on the municipal website. The ultimate goal is to have a diagnosis that facilitates the City Council's decision-making and the definition of appropriate criteria for managing tourist use housing, considering the specific characteristics and needs of the municipality.
