The Xàtiva Fair has concluded its 2026 edition with a very positive assessment, attracting nearly 30,000 people to its cultural, family, and musical events, despite episodes of wind and rain.

The Xàtiva City Council highlighted the high participation and favorable outcome of the Fair, which experienced intense days with thousands of citizens enjoying the program. Adverse weather conditions, particularly on August 15th and 20th, caused incidents and the need to suspend or postpone activities to ensure safety.
One of the main impacts occurred on August 15th, when a storm with heavy rainfall and strong winds damaged several facilities. This led to the suspension of activities planned for that night, including the concert by La Fúmiga, Naina, and Romàntic Dimoni, which was rescheduled. The storm also forced the cancellation of the closing show, Abba The New Experience, and the subsequent pyromusical show, with the protocol act taking place at the Gran Teatre.
Provisional attendance figures exceeded usual expectations. An estimated cumulative participation of 19,000 people attended the Camp de La Murta, 3,000 at the Glorieta, 1,500 at the Palasiet, 2,400 at the plaza de la Seu, and 4,000 at the Al Ras space. The children's program attracted around 2,400 children and families.
The Al Ras festival launched a new image, distributing 500 glasses with the new logo and 2,500 wristbands. The initiative included campaigns for drug and alcohol consumption prevention, and the operation of the Punto Violeta to ensure a safe and inclusive space.
Mayor Roger Cerdà positively assessed the fair, highlighting attendance at the performance venues and the success of concerts such as OBK and Cara B, which gathered over 5,000 people. He also noted the good reception of the gastronomic area.
Institutional presence, with visits from minister Diana Morant, minister Óscar Puente, Provincial Council president Vicent Mompó, Valencian Government vice-president José Díez, and national deputy Nahuel González, underscored the Fair's importance. The mayor regretted the absence of the Valencian Government president, Juan Francisco Pérez Llorca.
Regarding security, the coordinated operation ensured a "calm" fair with 17 interventions for theft, threats, or disturbances, 120 identifications, and 12 alcohol and drug checks. 250 officers participated in surveillance and public order.
Mobility functioned reasonably well, facilitating travel despite moments of intense traffic.
