The Xàtiva Fair concluded its 2026 edition last Thursday, August 20th, with a concert by La Fúmiga, after an estimated 30,000 people attended the various cultural venues.

The closing of the Xàtiva Fair was affected by a storm on Thursday, August 20th, forcing the closing concert to be moved to the Gran Teatre and the cancellation of the Abba tribute and the fireworks display.
The City Council views the fair's outcome positively, highlighting the «great participation» despite episodes of strong wind and rain on August 15th and 20th. It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people visited the city during the event, a figure that will be confirmed by a study commissioned by the council.
The Nit Jove concert, featuring La Fúmiga, Naina, and Romàntic Dimoni, which was initially postponed from August 15th due to stage damage from a «thermal burst», ultimately closed the program. High attendance was expected, although tickets were still available.
Municipal estimates indicate an accumulated attendance of approximately 19,000 people at Camp de La Murta, around 3,000 at La Glorieta, 1,500 at El Palasiet, 2,400 at plaça de la Seu, and 4,000 at the Al Ras space. The children's theater program attracted an estimated 2,400 children and families, bringing the total to approximately 30,000 attendees.
Merchants on La Alameda reported positive customer reception, while some fair vendors expressed critical opinions about the edition. Regarding security, the operation coordinated by 250 officers resulted in 17 interventions for offenses such as theft or threats, 120 identifications, and 12 alcohol and drug checks.
