The planned investment amounts to 2.3 million euros, including VAT, to address structures over 40 years old. The passage of time and continuous traffic have caused deterioration that makes their repair essential to guarantee safety and extend the lifespan of these infrastructures.
The work will focus on three key kilometer points on the A-35 within the La Costera region. At kilometer 41.3, the underpass of Carrer de la Costera, connecting the CV-598 road to an industrial estate in L'Alcúdia de Crespins, will be repaired. At kilometer 42.6, action will be taken on the structure of the CV-585 road, near L'Alcúdia de Crespins. Finally, at kilometer 44.3, the underpass of the CV-40 road, next to Cerdà, will be renovated.
The project includes a comprehensive repair of the concrete structures. Interventions will involve thorough cleaning of the walls to eliminate moisture, concrete consolidation through crack injection and sealing, and metallic reinforcement with anchored steel plates. The drainage system will also be improved with the installation of gargoyles, and deteriorated joints will be replaced.
As a measure to protect against corrosion, an anti-carbonation paint layer will be applied to the walls. Through this tender, the Ministry aims to ensure the structural durability of this vital section of the state road network in the interior of Valencia.
