The Quesa City Council has launched a community initiative to promote female empowerment, equality, and the prevention of gender-based violence, in collaboration with the Association of Quesa Women.

The council is developing a socio-educational proposal based on feminist pedagogy and sorority, primarily aimed at the municipality's women. The objective is to enhance self-esteem and personal security, as well as to highlight the citizenry's commitment to equality.
The project includes three lines of action: a creative canvas workshop to foster mutual support, a community event for November 25th to create a collective purple piece symbolizing rejection of sexist violence, and a practical self-defense workshop led by specialized professionals.
Through this initiative, the Quesa City Council is consolidating a local space for meeting and protection that strengthens the social fabric and the culture of equality. The project is supported by a grant of €3,354.12 from the Provincial Council of Valencia.
