A building in Benetússer (Horta Sud) completely collapsed overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, causing no injuries, after residents alerted authorities to cracks and noises.

The property, consisting of a ground floor and three upper floors, was adjacent to a construction site for another building. The alert was received around 10:01 PM when residents reported the situation.
Two units from the Torrent and Catarroja fire stations, along with command staff, were dispatched to the scene. By the time the first responders arrived, residents had already evacuated the building as a precaution.
Firefighters established a safety perimeter, and shortly thereafter, the building collapsed entirely. The Provincial Consortium of Firefighters of Valencia confirmed that there were no personal injuries among residents or emergency personnel, and it was ruled out that anyone was trapped.
As an additional precaution, an adjacent building was also evacuated pending review by municipal technicians from the Benetússer City Council. Firefighters coordinated their efforts with municipal authorities and utility companies.
