The deadline to submit applications for the 2026 Rent Bonus, which can reach 6,000 euros, began on August 24th and will end on September 11th. This aid is aimed at individuals up to 35 years old to facilitate their access to housing.
The Torrent City Council, through Nous Espais, has launched an in-person advisory service by appointment. The goal is to help the city's youth correctly process this call for applications and resolve any doubts they may have during the process.
“"From Nous Espais, we want to make it easier for young people in Torrent to access this aid and, above all, to have an advisory service that allows them to resolve their doubts and correctly submit the application."
Eligibility requirements include being up to 35 years old, holding Spanish nationality or legal residency, being a tenant on a lease agreement formalized according to the Urban Leases Law, and the rented dwelling or room must be the habitual and permanent residence. In Torrent, the maximum rent is 800 euros per month for dwellings and 400 euros for rooms.
Additionally, applicants must have annual income below 3 times the IPREM (approximately 25,200 euros), with higher limits for households of two or more young people. Applications are submitted online through the Generalitat Valenciana's electronic headquarters, with or without a digital certificate.
For those needing assistance, appointments can be requested by calling 96.156.54.56 at the Xarxa XALOC Office in Torrent. Nous Espais has also created a dedicated section on its website with detailed information.
Necessary documentation includes the lease agreement, proof of cohabitation, rent payment receipts, and, if applicable, the direct debit form. The overall budget for the call amounts to nearly 30 million euros, offering 250 euros per month for 24 months.
