The Sedaví City Council has completed the renovation works for the park located on País Valencià avenue, near Lúzete. The intervention was carried out to repair the damage caused by the DANA.
The children's play area has been completely replaced, incorporating new impact-absorbing rubber flooring and a modern castle-type multi-game structure. The calisthenics area's flooring has also been renewed, and the skatepark has been cleaned.
The work included cleaning the rainwater and sewage system, modernizing the lighting electrical installation, and painting the lampposts. Furthermore, the external perimeter fence and the internal metal fence have been replaced, damaged litter bins have been restored, and existing benches have been refurbished.
The park's improvement is completed with the renovation of the irrigation system, new plant installations in the perimeter planter, the installation of new biosaludable equipment, and the restoration of the fountain.
With this reopening, Sedaví continues with the progressive recovery of its public spaces. These actions, funded by the Spanish Government, are part of a global project to renovate children's areas with a budget of 778,604.19 euros, allocated for the municipality's recovery after the DANA.
