This municipal resource, launched in late 2020, provides guidance on supply contracts, consumption habits, and renewable energy alternatives. The aim is for residents to make more informed decisions about their energy use and the potential adoption of self-consumption solutions.
The new phase of the service begins on September 17th, with 15 bi-weekly sessions scheduled for Thursday afternoons, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Each appointment lasts 30 minutes and will run until December 10th. Interested individuals can already book appointments through the Green Office's municipal website.
The Councilor for Environment, Óscar Pellicer, highlighted the Green Office's utility as a tool for better understanding energy consumption and identifying saving options. He noted that small changes in contracts or habits can lead to significant savings throughout the year.
Meanwhile, Mayor Vicent Ciscar emphasized that saving for families and promoting responsible consumption are key municipal objectives. He assured that the Town Hall will continue developing policies for sustainability, energy consumption reduction, and the fight against climate change.
The initiative is part of the council's commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In its initial phase, the service included workshops on utility bills and solar photovoltaic energy, covering self-consumption and incentives for installing solar panels.
