The Paiporta City Council today welcomed 11 new Local Police officers, who swore their oaths in an official ceremony accompanied by their families. Additionally, a new inspector has joined, and two sergeants have been promoted internally within the force. These additions and promotions aim to increase the Local Police's human resources and enhance its capacity to respond to the municipality's needs.
The mayor of Paiporta, Vicent Ciscar, highlighted the effort and dedication of the new officers, emphasizing the importance of their incorporation into public service. "Reaching this point requires perseverance, preparation, and a vocation for service. Today is an important day for all of us, for all the people of Paiporta," he stated. Ciscar also thanked the rigor and professionalism of the selection process.
The Councilor for Police, Susana Moreno, underlined that these incorporations consolidate and strengthen the Local Police, representing a commitment to proximity and quality public service. Meanwhile, the Superintendent of the Local Police, Manuel Ocaña, welcomed the new personnel and highlighted the daily work of the force in serving the citizens.
The City Council also recalled the fundamental role of the Local Police during the DANA (a severe weather event) and in emergency situations. With these new additions, the council reaffirms its commitment to safety, coexistence, and the quality of public services, as well as to a local police force that is accessible and prepared.
